Our Core Values
Always Student-Centered
We believe every student should understand their needs and express them with confidence. We guide students to develop self-advocacy skills so they can actively participate in their education and future.
Education must be accessible to all learners. We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring that Deaf and Hard of Hearing students have equal access to instruction, communication, and technology.
We work hand-in-hand with parents, educators, and IEP teams to build cohesive plans that center the student’s voice. We believe collective effort leads to meaningful, lasting change.
Each student is unique. Our services are tailored to meet individual needs, foster independence, and build confidence across academic and social settings.
We promote inclusive environments where Deaf and Hard of Hearing students can thrive alongside their peers. Accessibility is not an accommodation—it’s a foundation for full participation.
We honor Deaf culture and affirm every student’s language and identity. We advocate for environments where all communication modes are respected and supported.

Staffing Shortages
Many schools struggle to find qualified Teachers of the Deaf to provide Deaf & Hard of Hearing Itinerant Services. This lack of personnel can hinder effective learning experiences and educational progress for students.
Limited Resources
Schools often lack sufficient resources to support students effectively, leading to gaps in services and potential non-compliance with IEP requirements.
Language & Communication
Language development and communication skills are crucial for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Specialized intervention significantly improves a student’s academic progress, language skills, social-emotional development and peer interaction.
Collaboration
Districts who do not have qualified Teachers of the Deaf are missing a critical component of educator support. Our specialists support teams by guiding IEP implementation, accommodations, and communication strategies—ensuring continuity, accessibility, and student success through collaborative consultation.
